I bought my first AEG back in 2013 in South Korea where I started to play airsoft. I paid around $350 from person who sold me the second hand. It is very expenstive to get airsoft guns in Korea due to their strict gun laws and custoom fees to import. I remember picking it up from the seller and carrying my rifle through subway and testing it at my house to find out that it broke during transportation.

I attached all kind of garbage stuff on my rifle thinking that it looked cool back then. It was runnign 11.1v Lipo without any protection and gearbox was big mess.

I also tried out blowback mod with shoe lace by making hole on top of gearbox and other dumb stuff with limited tools i had back then.
Video my of my piston getting destroyed in the field.

Shimming still sounds horrible as I was still new to teching.

2014 I also tried out m4 mag adapter

2022 Upgrade with 22TPA Motor, Gate Nano ASR Mosfet, CNC Cylinder Head, AOE correction, and had t fix all the cracks and chips in the body with JB weld.

2023 installed Levithan Optical, and AHTECH 62k Brushless motor for testing purpose.
Also installed ARES SL9 Rail with 3D printed muzzle.

2024 brought the rifle along with k2c1 through airport. and added few parts from Japan trip.

Prowin G36 Hopup chamber that I got good deal in Airsoft97

Also upgraded the gearbox with Retro gearbox, Rocket 18:1 gearset, 8mm J-caged bearing, T238 33K brushless motor and steel rack piston.

3D Printed QD sling mount/spacer for the stock, outer barrel and new ARES SL9 muzzle.
The rifle sounds much better with new component with good shimming.

I’ve decided to upgrade my extneral looks so I got PTS mags and G36 grip my PSG-8 project.

3D printed the adapter/ PSG style stock that I designed.

3D printed PSG-1 Style Grip base with plastic expoxy JB weld. it didnt come out that well even after sanding it down but feels great.

added my custom 3D printed mock suppressor.

It came out great with new paint job. I think I really like the new looks of my oldest AEG rifle.
